WHAT IS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ORIGINAL OIL ON CANVAS AND GICLEE PRINT?
-"Original art is painted on canvas by hand start to finish, derived from artists unique ideas and memories, place in nature or subject, completed in different time periods ranging from few days to few months and has all attributes of artistic impression. Giclee printing on art-canvas is created by the process of making high resolution professional scan, color corrected to match original as close as possible and professionally printed in desired size on art-canvas, or other substrates like metal, Vinyl or paper. We use iris Giclee on canvas printing that measures up to the archival standards set forth by Fine Art trade Guild for ph and lightfastness of up to 100 years of display life. After any print is finished, it can be painted on top of the surface to bring the image back to life, to the artist’s exact preferences; adding texture and brushstrokes as original art has, making it unique in appearance. All print sales are final. Please contact yulagaleeva@gmail.com as soon as possible if you need to cancel your order."
What do we need to start commission of our own masterpiece?
-"To Commission and start creating your own painting with me, I like to know any details for your dream piece ; like the subject matter you enjoy most, favorite colors, ideal size. If there is designated area or space on the wall in mind, and everything that helps me to make art that reflect the owners and make it very personal. It could be something similar to the piece that strikes you from my collection with changes to personalize it or completely your own. We will start from that and I will work with you, on the painting , allowing your feedback, to guide entire process through furnished images at different stages. After more than 300 specially commissioned pieces successfully completed, I can attest that any real collaborative painting after your approval of photos will always exceeds your expectation.”
How long does it take you to paint one painting?
-“It has literally took me all my life of studying and painting everyday professionally for past 30 years, so now I can do it in as fast as few hours, few days, few weeks or few years...they are all different in amount of detail, techniques, process; ....it is like cutting a diamond, takes few seconds to cut and thousands of years to become :)
What is your favorite painting of yours, style, subject matter you do?
-“ I started to paint when I was a child and I still paint like that, with genuine interest of whatever inspires me ; or I can see with my inner eye. I have few pieces going and work on each one only when I feel inspired to do that particular work. So all the effort that goes into making the piece will be transmuted by my authentic joy and pleasure of the process, so that you, the viewer, will only feel that afterwards, when looking at the painting. I like to paint any subject that speaks to me, choosing style and approach that is best for it.”
What do you want to say with your art (that painting) what is the story behind some of your pieces?
-“My intention is usually to capture what I see and feel and then transfer this feeling to viewer. After its done and I've signed my name on the canvas, I hope that it reflects back your feelings, your inner nature, your view of the world. Art has life of its own and becomes independent from the creator, I want you to have your own vision of it, see your own story, or memories. At this point it only matters what it is -in that moment in your imagination. My only hope and dream is that you feel connection to yourself and to the source through it, as I did when I painted it.”
How do you make it look so real?
=“I paint in layers, slowly building depth with glazes of transparent color, or using heavy impasto texture make it look three dimensional with palette knife followed by brush strokes on top. It never really just one application approach, building layers upon layers to make it look alive as result, as close to what it is in reality.”
-What inspires you to paint?
-“Everything really, it can be flowers, street view, landscape or just squeezing tubes of fresh paint in vivid hues of colors out on the palette, it"s what I love to do, my favorite activity, my way of being. I am greatly inspired by all that is lovely and beautiful.”
